garlic cloves, finely chopped

spaghetti
or any other pasta of your liking
salt to taste

medium lemon
juice and zest
Crunchy Bread Crumbs
1/2
cup
panko breadcrumbs
1/2
tbsp
unsalted butter
1/2
tbsp
fresh thyme
or dried
Instructions
Crunchy Breadcrumbs
Heat butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
Add breadcrumbs and thyme. Cook over low-medium heat, stirring frequently, until the crumbs are golden.
Set aside and begin making the pasta.
Creamy Lemon Pasta
Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
Heat a pan with olive oil, garlic, red crushed pepper, thyme and stir on low heat.
Then add in your black pepper and butter.
Now add 1/2 cup of the pasta water, cheese, lemon juice, lemon zest and stir. Add the additional pasta water and stir on low to medium heat.
Now add in your al dente pasta and finish cooking in the sauce. Add additional pasta water and parmesan to your liking.
Taste and add additional seasoning to your liking. Finish with black pepper, parmesan and lemon zest.
You can now top the pasta with crunchy bread crumbs or roasted artichoke.
